Book an online appointment
Online Skills Team appointments are 30 minutes and run online via Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams allows us to share audio/video, screens, text chat and documents during the session. When you book an appointment, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to join from your PC or mobile device. This will include a link you can use at the time of your appointment. We aim to make our service as inclusive as possible, so you are welcome to record your appointment if this supports your learning or if you'd like to review the advice later. Please just let us know before you start recording.

Book an on-campus appointment
On-campus appointments are 30 minutes and held in the Brynmor Jones Library at the University of Hull campus. When you book an appointment, you will receive a follow-up email with directions to the room. We aim to make our service as inclusive as possible, so you are welcome to audio-record your appointment if this supports your learning or if you'd like to review the advice later. Please just ask before starting to record. We ask that you do not bring children to your appointment. However, we do understand that is is not always possible to arrange childcare. If needed, we are happy to hold your appointment in our Family Room on the ground floor of the Library. Please let us know as early as possible if you require this.
